junior mechanical engineer will hep work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate mechanical components to then be use in mines.
At least a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• LICENSING: by law, a professional engineer (PE) license
• Accumulation of zero (0) to three (3) years as a mechanical engineer
• Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools
• Mathematical computing an analysis tools knowledge
• Solid understanding mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, material science etc.
• Creativity and analytical skills
• Can use the instruments and equipment’s that are given to him/her.
• Can carry out designated project in accordance with the contract requirements.
• Proven ability to work as a member of a team.
• Demonstrable deadline/time management and task management skill.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
• Carries out duties to the best of their ability.
• With the nature of the job, you may be required to perform shift work and you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and your target.
• You will be expected to travel to sites.
• Obeys all lawful and reasonable orders given to you and comply with the organisation rules.
